This fun baby shower trivia game will have baby shower guests trying to guess all sorts of random things like the name of songs with baby in the title, facts about animal babies, and more! There’s a little bit of everything in these baby shower trivia questions making it a great option for any baby shower, no matter the theme!
Baby Trivia Game
Everyone always asks me for baby shower games that are actually fun, not stupid or sometimes even embarrassing for the mom to be.
This baby shower trivia game is just that – it’s fun, it’s easy to play, and it works for any baby shower theme. Plus, it’s free to download and print so if you’re looking for a last minute baby shower game to play, this one is perfect!
It’s easily one of my favorite printable baby shower games and I’ve heard nothing but good things from people who have played it at baby showers I’ve hosted!
So make up a batch of blue punch (or pink punch for a girl baby shower), grab some pens, and get ready for a baby shower trivia night!
Why you’ll love this baby shower trivia
- Random mix of questions – with a combination of interesting facts, pop culture questions, and random baby trivia it’s fun for everyone.
- Free printable – anytime you can play a game and the only expense is the cost of ink, it’s a win.
- Mom-to-be can play – a lot of printable games are about the parents-to-be, which means mom can’t play. This one gives her as much of a chance to be a winner as anyone else.
How to Prep
Printable games are one of my go to’s when planning a party because the prep is basically done for you. Take this baby trivia game for example; all of the baby shower trivia questions a and the sheet ire already written and the game is designed and is ready to be printed.
All that’s left for you to do is download the game using the form below. Then print it out using either your printer at home or you can send it a professional printer. Don’t forget to print out the answer key too!
Once you have the sheets printed, you are ready to play. One last thing, make sure you have enough pens for everyone to use!
Printing Recommendations
- I recommend printing these on white paper. Colored paper cam clash with the various images designed on the page.
- Regular white printer paper works just fine for printing. If you want a sturdier page you could use card stock.
How to Play this baby shower trivia game
Using this fun trivia game is really simple. First, you will want to make sure you have enough copies of the game sheet for everyone invited to have their own.
You’ll also want to set out pens for everyone. There’s nothing worse than guests digging through their purse to only have one person find a pen.
Then you can play this in one of four ways.
- Place the baby shower trivia games and pens near the table for people to fill out over the course of the party. Then go over the answers all together at once time.
- Do this as a group game all at once. Hand out a trivia game and pen to everyone and give them like five minutes to fill out the questions. Then go over the answers together!
- Do this as a group game all at once but instead of handing out the trivia games, just ask the trivia questions to the entire group and whoever can shout out (or come up and tell you) the answer to a trivia question wins a prize. Keep going through all of the questions giving out small prizes for each answer.
- Hand out a piece of paper and pen to everyone then go through the questions one by one and have people fill out their answers. Then go through the answers together! This saves on having to print out multiple copies (and works well if you have no idea how many people are coming).
I personally prefer the second method because it’s easier to control and keep people from just filling out the sheets with help from their phones or other people. It also gives you an actual activity to do together rather than just something a lot of people may not do.
How to Win
As mentioned in the versions of the game above, the winner is the person who has the most correct for version #1, #2, and #4. Or the person who answers the question correct the fastest in version #1
If there is a tie you can either have the winners split one of the baby shower prizes or use a tie breaker question and just go with whoever gets closest. I’ve included a few options below.
- What is the most number of children born to one woman ever according to the Guinness Book of World Records? (69)
- How many ounces was the lowest ever birth weight of a surviving infant? (8.6 oz)
