Use these fun baby shower predictions and advice cards for a fun baby shower activity that everyone will enjoy! Guests can guess when the new baby will arrive among other things and whoever guesses closest wins! It’s a fun passive activity that works well with other baby shower games or in place of for a mom-to-be who isn’t a big fan of traditional games!
Baby Predictions Printable Game
While I’m a big fan of baby shower games, I know not everyone is. This baby shower predictions printable is the perfect baby shower activity for when you don’t want a real game but still want some sort of activity for people to do.
Instead of trying to figure out answers to things like baby shower trivia, they’ll be trying to guess delivery times, baby’s birth stats, delivery dates, and more!
It’s simple, low-key, and something that everyone can participate in while they’re sipping some pink baby shower punch (or blue punch for all those little boys) and enjoying some treats from this baby shower charcuterie board.
Plus, each of the baby shower prediction cards has a place for baby shower guests to add advice for the mom to be if they have any! So as the new mom is reviewing people’s guesses, she can enjoy their advice too! It’s a really fun way to combine an activity for guests while still giving mom some fun things to read!
How to Prep
One of the best things about printable baby shower games and activities is how simple they are to setup. You can get them up ahead of time or just wait until the last-minute and print right before the baby shower!
This baby shower predictions sheet is no different – just print one for each guest (plus a few extras) and get some pens together. That’s all the setup there is!
When the page is downloaded you’ll see a single design with three different sizes – a full sheet, a half-sheet, and a quarter sheet. You can choose which size works best for you and print accordingly.
The simple white background makes it ink friendly, so no need to send it to a professional printer unless you want to.
Printing Recommendations
- Use white paper, otherwise the pastel colors won’t be visible. Card stock will be sturdier and allow this to be kept as more of a keepsake for the mom to be!
How to Use the baby predictions printable
Once they’re all printed out, figure out where you want to put the baby shower advice cards and place them there with a bunch of pens for people to do as they munch and mingle at the shower!
Or if you want to do this ask activity for everyone all at once, just hold onto the printouts until you’re ready for the activity. Hand out a sheet and a pen and give people a few minutes to fill in their guesses, plus the advice prediction cards at the end for a meaningful keepsake for the new parents!
Unlike most traditional baby shower games like baby shower bingo or this baby shower emoji game, these baby shower predictions don’t have an immediate winner!
Instead, show everyone the prizes they’re playing for (if you want – or just do it for fun) and let them know that there will be a prize for the person who guesses each prediction correctly or the closest! Prizes will be sent out or given out after the new baby is born!
Grab some prizes with a baby shower theme to give out later and that’s it!
Turn The Baby Shower Advice Into a Keepsake
If you don’t want to use this as a game, another option is to collect all the sheets and give them to the mom-to-be in place of a guestbook.
Or you could collect all of the sheets of advice and predictions and turn them into a scrapbook. You could gather any pictures taken or small mementos from the day and gift it to the new parents. This makes a great start to a baby’s first scrapbook.
Tips & tricks
Don’t forget the pens. This seems simple, but happens so often that people forget to provide pens then people are left scrambling looking for something to write with.
Decide what you are going to use the sheets for before printing them. That way you know what size will work best with your end goal. For example, the half sheets would make a perfect addition to the guestbook.
You can do more than one thing with these, place them in the guest book and take pictures of the predictions to give out prizes later.
Printable FAQs
How many copies do I need to print?
You will need one copy per person. I recommend printing a couple extra because you never know what might spill or who will mess up and want to start again.
What to write on baby shower advice cards?
Knowing what to write can be overwhelming, for anyone regardless of how many kids they have. I suggest writing some thought or lesson that has had an impact on your life, whether that involves kids or not.
