The butterbeer at Universal Studios is one of my favorite treats at a park. This copycat recipe is as close as you can get to the real thing. A necessary addition to any type of party with Harry Potter fans.
There’s nothing better than a big bowl of popcorn while you are watching a movie on the couch, except for maybe an even bigger bowl of butterbeer popcorn on your lap while you settle into a Harry Potter movie night. Now, there really isn’t anything better than that.
At this point, I couldn’t leave out these butterbeer cupcakes. They are the perfect amount of rich butterscotchy goodness balanced with a light frosting and caramel drizzle.
You can’t go wrong with anything butterbeer. This flavorful drink is so good you won’t even care that you’re drinking something hot for Harry’s birthday in the middle of July. And if you’re worried about it being hot, then skip the butterbeer version and go with this frozen hot chocolate instead and just pretend.
This sweet treat is packed full of that delicious butter beer flavor but in muddy buddy form. With the addition of yellow and gold accents to the sugar-coated cereal, it works great as a side for any Harry Potter-themed party.

Polyjuice potion is one of the most rememberable potions in Harry Potter, which is why I had to include it on this list. Just remember to be careful which hair you add in, don’t want to be stuck like a cat for the night.
A great way to enhance water for any party. It’s light a refreshing but looks like it came from the bottom of the Great Lake. Not to worry, you won’t grow gills and webbings when you drink, but it’ll taste a lot better than the gillyweed Harry had to eat for the Goblet of Fire.
This pumpkin juice recipe drink is made with apple cider, pumpkin puree, and brown sugar this drink is full of delicious fall flavors. There’s a reason it’s so popular with the characters, it’s delicious!
Not only does this drink look magical, it tastes amazing too! Fizzy orange juice is one of my favorite drinks in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios, and this copycat is a great option when you can’t make it to the parks.
Sticking with muggle customs, I saved dessert for last, but not least. Below you’ll find Harry’s favorite treat, chocolate frogs, acid pops, and so much more.
Pumpkin Pasties
Another classic trolly treat is pumpkin pasties. This easy-to-replicate recipe is another great option for anyone wanting to replicate Harry Potter foods from the movie.
There seems to be a never-ending amount of treats at Honeyduke’s, these acid pops included. Enjoy the sweet and sour experience that thankfully won’t leave a hole in your tongue.
This dessert is a treat that everyone will love. Just make sure to add plenty of ice cream to your knickerbockers, wouldn’t want anyone throwing a fit over them like Dudley.
I remember cringing while I watched this beautiful cake float across the room and land right on Mrs. Mason’s head. Maybe keep the house elves at home for this party, wouldn’t want them ruining another cake.
We all remember in The Sorcerer’s Stone when Harry removed his wand from the troll’s nose followed by a string of “troll boogies.” This clever treat is infinitely more appetizing and a great addition to the themed snacks.

I love the look and flavors of this cauldron cake, after all, you can never go wrong with chocolate and marshmallow. Don’t want to go with actual cupcakes? Make these cauldron cupcakes instead. They look like a potion gone wrong!
Who can forget the fatal cry of mandrakes? While this cute cupcake version is far less dangerous, your sweet tooth will surely thank you. For a simpler version consider using brown marshmallows with some herbs on the top.
You can’t forget to add Mrs. Weasley’s fudge to your spread. This delicious treat was one of the first gifts Harry ever received from Mrs Weasley. Just another reason to love Molly Weasley for being the best mother.

You can’t have a Harry Potter birthday party without recreating his favorite dessert, a treacle tart. Made with a buttery crust and golden syrup it’s the perfect amount of caramelly goodness in tart form.
As one of Harry’s first experiences with magical goodies, these chocolate frogs are a must. Lucky for you, this tasty amphibian won’t come alive and climb out the window before you have a chance to enjoy it.
