This year has been a great one for music so it only makes sense that a party celebrating the year would need an awesome New Year’s Eve playlist to help you ring in the new year! This playlist is full best New Year’s Eve songs this year has to offer. Covering everything from the pop queen, Taylor Swift, to the best of the country world from Morgan Wallen.
I always say that to plan a party you need to think about all five senses – taste, touch, seeing, hearing, and smelling. Having the perfect NYE playlist can really make a big difference in your New Year’s Eve celebration because the right songs can put people in a good mood while other songs will kind of just be more background music.
I put together this New Year’s anthem playlist based on top songs of the year from all different categories – pop, country, rock, and more! The perfect combination to ring in the New Year right.
They’re songs that are appropriate for everyone, even kids (nothing explicit), have a good beat, and are ones that most people probably will like! This was a great year for music, perfect to keep you awake until midnight and shout “Happy New Year!”.
This list is perfect for a little New Year’s Eve name that tune, a little How Do You Doo challenge, or a good game of Stack Attack! Or you can YouTube any of these songs and turn it into a karaoke night for you and your gang.
Or of course for just playing at your New Year’s Eve party for people to dance to or just have on as background music!

The Best New Year’s Eve Song list
Sorry to disappoint, but this list is all about 2023, so you won’t find any classics here. That means no Abba, Otis Redding, Mariah Carey, or Eagles. This list is all about featuring New Year’s Eve songs that were released (mostly) this year.
This is a compilation of top songs from 2023 and when I say top it doesn’t necessarily mean they were released in 2023 (although most are) – it’s just the most popular songs of 2023!
Some of these may have been released in December 2022 and didn’t really pick up steam until the new year! They’re still included because they’re still part of the album from the year! Plus they likely have such catchy lyrics and chorus that everyone is still singing them this year.
